I have been trying to get a cracked version of Native Instruments Battery working properly on Windows XP SP3 for ages but I've been having some problems. I installed Battery from ASSIGN's Komplete 8 release in order to get the full library files. Since the install in this version is older not to mention uncracked I then installed ASSIGN's Battery 3.2.3. The problems I am having are these: It works but I am unable to set the path for my library files in the preferences dialog.

When I click the icon that should bring up a folder dialog to set the path nothing happens. Obviously this makes it annoying to switch kits quickly. Also when I click on the browser tab in Battery it crashes the host which would make it a pain in the ass to audition different samples (kick drums for example) in the current kit on the fly while a song is playing.
